Conversion rate optimization

The discipline of increasing the share of site visitors who complete a target action.

Definition

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) is the systematic process of increasing the percentage of visitors who complete a target action, booking a demo, subscribing, buying. Combines analytics, user research, copy, design, and A/B testing.

Why it matters

Traffic without conversion is a cost center. A 3% demo-request conversion rate on 10,000 sessions per month is 300 qualified leads; a 0.5% rate on the same traffic is 50. The same site with different conversion discipline is a different business.

How we think about it

We ship every site with at least two primary conversion paths, demo request and contact, plus one long-tail capture (newsletter or audit). Every CTA is measured. Every form is rate-limited against spam but frictionless for humans. We optimize based on PostHog + Search Console, not vibes.

Want this on your site, not in a glossary?

We use analytics to understand which pages help, with PII redacted and session inputs masked. Your form submissions always reach us regardless of this choice.
