This is a plain-English summary of how AtlasForge handles personal data across the public site, demo requests, newsletter subscriptions, analytics, and client portal workflows.

What we collect

We collect the information you choose to send us, including your name, email address, company, website URL, phone number if provided, message content, audit or demo request details, newsletter preferences, job application materials, and client portal account information. We also collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, consent choices, and security logs.

How we use it

We use personal information to respond to requests, provide audits and demos, operate the website and client portal, send service and newsletter emails, review job applications, protect the site from abuse, measure site performance, improve our services, comply with legal obligations, and manage business records.

Legal bases

Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on consent for optional email and analytics, contract or pre-contract steps for audits, demos, client portals, and paid engagements, legitimate interests for site security and business operations, and legal obligations where records must be retained.

How we share it

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers and partners that help run AtlasForge, including Vercel for hosting, MongoDB Atlas for data storage, Resend for email delivery, PostHog and Google Analytics for analytics, GitHub and Vercel for deployment operations, payment or invoicing providers when a paid engagement exists, and professional advisers or authorities when required by law. These providers may process information in Canada, the United States, the European Economic Area, or other jurisdictions where they operate.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate the site. Where analytics are enabled, we use PostHog and Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and improve performance. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected. Contact, demo, audit, and client records are kept while the relationship is active and then for normal business recordkeeping. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Job application materials are kept only as long as needed for recruiting and related recordkeeping. Analytics records are retained according to the settings in the analytics platforms.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transport, access controls, least-privilege operational access, and provider-level security controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we treat security as part of production operations rather than an afterthought.

Your rights and choices

We use cookies for analytics, portal sessions, and operational diagnostics. We do not use advertising cookies. Analytics tools are configured to minimize collection and are reviewed as the stack changes.
