Every Monday, the answers themselves.
Each week we ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI answers every question on your list, 3 times each, and send you what they said. This is an example of the report. The practice and every figure in it are made up to show the format.
Answer Report Example
An example dental practice, Kitchener
20 questions · 3 engines · 3 runs each
| Question your customers ask | ChatGPT | Perplexity | Google AI | Named instead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Emergency dentist open Saturday in Kitchener | Cited 3/3 | Named 1/3 | Cited 3/3new | Practice B |
| Best dentist in Kitchener for nervous patients | Named 2/3 | Cited 2/3 | Not yet | Practice A, Practice C |
| Dentist taking new patients in Kitchener | Cited 3/3new | Cited 3/3 | Named 1/3 | Practice A |
| Who does Invisalign in Waterloo | Not yet | Named 1/3 | Not yet | Practice A, Practice D |
This week we added the Saturday hours to the site and the Google listing. Next: an Invisalign page with real case counts and prices, because two practices are named for it and this one is not.
What each part means.
- Cited
- The answer links to your website or one of your own pages, such as your Google listing.
- Named
- The answer names your business but does not link to you.
- Not yet
- Your business is not in the answer.
- 3/3, 2/3, 1/3
- How many of the 3 askings named or cited you. AI answers vary, so one asking is not enough.
- Named instead
- The other businesses the answers named for that question. Your real competition in AI answers, which is often not who you expect.
- Questions where you are named
- A question counts as named in a week when, on at least one engine we track, you are named or linked in at least 2 of the 3 times we ask it. This is the number the guarantee is measured on.
- Share of answers
- Of every answer to every question on every engine that week, how many named or cited you. It shows the trend between the weekly counts.
Every line can be checked.
Open ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google and ask the question exactly as it appears in your report. You will not always get the same answer we did, because these engines vary from one asking to the next. That is why we ask 3 times and report the count. Over a few weeks your own spot checks and the report should tell the same story.
Ask about any line and we send you the full text of that answer, with its links. Nothing in the report is an estimate.
